Lowell photographer Annie Powell took more than 3,000 images in and around Lowell by the time of her death in 1952 at age 92, but much of her life remains a mystery. The by Annie Powell project is dedicated to preserving Annie’s photographic legacy, researching and authenticating her work, as well as contextualizing and promoting the historical significance of her images.
