2020 LCK Festival update

Greetings Friends of Lowell Celebrates Kerouac:

As most of you know by now, we on the LCK Committee, for what we assume are obvious reasons, will not be hosting an on-site Kerouac Festival in Lowell this year.

We are working to present a series of Kerouac themed events, however. Right now, we are in in the process of doing a major overhaul of our website through which we will be offering them. One such event will be our annual Parker Lecture by Charles Shuttleworth, “Kerouac: The Buddhist Years,” to be followed by a Zoom hosted response time thanks to the Harker School of San Jose, California where Mr. Shuttleworth is on faculty.

Several other events are in the works and we’re still working on dates and times. Bear with us and we’ll keep you posted as we put things in place and offer you the access information you will need.

In the Spirit of Jack Kerouac,
The Lowell Celebrates Kerouac Committee

The happiness consists in realizing that it is all a great strange dream.
