Jack Kerouac Award for Poetry and Literature, Morano Calabro, Italy

The Indetto dall’Associazione Culturale Orion (Orion Cultural Association) in Morano Calabro, Italy, is hosting a international competition called the Jack Kerouac Award for Poetry and Literature. The deadline for submissions is 10 August 2016. The award ceremony will take place Saturday 10 September 2016 in the Municipal Auditorium in Morano Calabro.

There are three categories for non-Italian authors:

  • Section A: unpublished poem on any subject
  • Section C: themed poem, "Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation"
  • Section D: short story on any subject
