On the Row

Currently showing at Newbury Fine Arts in Boston: Sebastian Krueger. One of his sketches of Jack, in graphite, is on display.

"Emotionlessly she kissed me in the vineyard and walked off down the row. We turned at a dozen paces, for love is a duel, and looked up at each other for the last time. I was going to be left alone on my butt at the other end of the continent. But why think about that when all the golden land's ahead of you and all kinds of unforeseen events wait lurking to surprise you and make you glad you're alive to see?"

How beautiful those lines! It really shows the life after lost love. We should believe that there is a life which is beautiful than this lost love. I loved the way that is used to express the feelings.
